Hôtel de la Paix opens new art gallery

Hôtel de la Paix, Siem Reap has opened a new art gallery. The Thev Gallery is intended to provide a platform for local Khmer artists and to promote local causes. Named after a traditional Khmer walk-through gallery, Thev Gallery launches this month with an exhibition of photographs highlighting the work of the HALO Trust, which works to clear land mines in Cambodia.

The new gallery will run alongside the hotel’s existing Arts Lounge – a large space at the front of the hotel which hosts major exhibitions of local arts and culture.
